Driller Helper will be responsible to assist the lead drillers with obtaining soil and rock samples for engineering evaluations. The driller helper will be assisting with setup and tooling of the drill rig and drilling operations.

 

General Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age

• Legally Authorized to work in the United States, Without restrictions

• Driver’s License with a good driving record.

• Good mechanical and technical aptitude is a plus.

• Must be in good physical condition, able safely lift the drilling tooling, able to work in all weather conditions.

• Background check results must be acceptable for entrance to governmental project sites.

Responsibilities:

• Observe and follow all company safety rules and procedures.

• Assist drilling operations by handling augers, drill pipe, mixing drill mud and handling casing and other equipment and tooling. These activities will require some heavy lifting.

• Drive equipment to and from job location. Good driving record is a must.

• Perform maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work area as directed.

• Work in varying weather conditions.

• Be prepared in general to work Monday through Friday and every other Saturday.

• Night work will sometimes be required.

• Expect occasional out of town work.

• Physical requirements include standing, squatting and heavy lifting over long periods.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
